Maher Butachlor (60% EC)

The mechanism of effect: The effect of Butachlor depends on the amount of water available to the plant, therefore, it should be sprayed after rainfall or irrigation to obtain better results. The first stage of the absorption in this herbicide is conducted through sprouting seed, and in the second stage through the roots, and then transferred to other organs of the plant. Butachlor prevents the biosynthesis of the plant proteins.

Bachelor's consumption:
The systemic and selective butachlor herbicide is used to control the annual narrow leaf weeds and some broad-leaved weeds of rice fields, especially pigweed. Butachlor is used 4 to 7 days after transplanting from 3 to 4 liters per hectare, before the two leaves emerging of the pigweed (a pigweed seedling must be located beneath the surface of the water), but it is applied in direct planting crop before pre-emergence. It should be noted that after spraying the water entering and leaving is blocked for 2-3 days. In addition to rice, it has a selective effect on barley, cotton, peanut, beet, and some celery cultivars. Butachlor can be used to the amount of 1 to 4.5 liters of active ingredient (a.i.) per ha-1.

Compatibility and Mixing:
Butachlor does not have scorch on rice, cotton, barley, wheat, peanut, beet, and some cabbage cultivars.
