.

Indoxacarb blocks the sodium channels in axonal nerve cells and prevents sodium ions to pump into the nerve cells. Insects that are exposed to the Indoxacarb, are left without food and eventually disappeared after a few days.

Usage management: To prevent the onset of resistance, use indoxacarb in a rotation with a pyrethroid or carbamate insecticide. The recommended amount of poison for killing the cotton boll is 200 to 250 cc per hectare. To control caradrina exigua (beet armyworm), use indoxacarb in alternatives with an acyl urea insecticide containing flufenoxuron (cascade) or a carbamate.
